((WATCH>>STREAMS!)) Al Nassr vs Al Hazem Live Free Online Broadcast 29 February 2024

Al-Nassr vs Al-Hazem: Live stream, TV channel, kick-off time and where to watch. Two sides at opposite ends of the Saudi Pro League table will meet this Thursday, with runners-up Al-Nassr taking on Al-Hazem at King Saud University on Thursday.

The hosts maintained pressure on leaders Al-Hilal over the weekend, securing a hard-fought 3-2 victory over a resilient Al-Shabab side, with Cristiano Ronaldo breaking the deadlock from the penalty spot before Talisca netted twice in the second half to help his side to an important three points.

Sitting in second place in the league standings with 52 points after 21 games, Al Alami will look to keep up their fine run of form against a beleaguered Al-Hazem side, who are languishing at the foot of the table with just 14 points to their name all season long.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch, including TV channel, streaming details and more.

Al Nassr FC vs Al Hazem kick-off time

Kick-off time: 12 pm ET

Venue: King Saud University Stadium

The Saudi Pro League match between Al-Nassr and Al-Hazem will be played at the King Saud University (KSU) Stadium - known as Al-Awwal Park due to sponsorship reasons - in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It will kick off at 12 pm ET on Saturday, February 29, 2024, in the United States (US).

Al Nassr FC team news

Al-Nassr are still dealing with an injury crisis in the goalkeeping department, with David Ospina and Raghed Al-Najjar both out due to injury, while Nawaf Al-Aqidi is serving a ban handed down by the Saudi Football Federation.

That means fourth-choice Waleed Abdullah should continue in between the sticks for this game.

Al-Nassr possible XI: Abdullah; Lajami, Amri, Laporte, Behich; Alkhaibari, Brozovic; Ahmed, Otavio, Mane; Ronaldo

Al Hazem team news

Brazilian midfielder Vina was forced off before the halftime break with a knock last week against Al-Khaleej and is expected to miss this encounter, thus Basil Yousef Alsayyali will take his place in midfield.

Al Hazem possible XI: Dahmen; Mhemaid, Ricardo, Viana, Al-Aazmi; Al Salman, Moreno; Al-Thani, Alsayyali, Toze; Badamosi

Before the win at Al-Shabab, Al Nassr hosted Al Feiha last Wednesday in the second leg of the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League. Otávio and Ronaldo scored to give the club a 3-0 aggregate finish, along with a spot in the quarterfinals of the competition. CR7 also scored the club's lone goal in the first leg. Don't miss the thrilling matchup between Al Nassr and Al-Hazem FC on Thursday in Saudi Pro League action.

After Al Nassr defeated their Riyadh rivals Al-Shabab 3-2 on Sunday, video footage appeared to show Ronaldo cupping his ear and repeatedly thrusting his hand forward near his pelvis, in a gesture that seemed to be aimed at Al-Shabab fans.

The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF) committee announced the ban on Thursday morning. Al Nassr’s next league game is at home to Al-Hazem on Thursday evening.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United star will also have to pay a fine of 20,000 Saudi Riyals ( $5,333) to Al-Shabab, to cover the costs of the club filing the complaint, and half of that amount to the federation.

It is not the first time that the Portuguese forward has been at the centre of controversy since joining Al Nassr. Last April, upon leaving the field after a game against Al Hilal, Ronaldo appeared to grab his genitals as fans chanted Messi’s name. On that occasion, Al Nassr said that the forward had sustained a groin injury in the match.

Al-Alami will come into this one on the back of a 3-2 victory over Al-Shabab last weekend, which extended their current winning streak in the Saudi top flight to six matches, while only suffering one defeat in their last 11, which was against the Blue Waves at the start of December.

On the other hand, after clinching promotion to the Saudi Pro League last season, Al-Hazem look set to head straight back to the Saudi First Division League this term unless they can string together a run of results in the second part of the campaign. Hazem Al Samood have won two games all season and are rock bottom, leaving them six points behind Al-Riyadh, who are above the dotted line.

Luis Castro’s side could be without their talisman for this match, as Cristiano Ronaldo could be slapped with a two-match ban for making an obscene gesture towards the home crowd in response to being taunted with Lionel Messi chants by Al-Shabab fans over the weekend after scoring the opener from the penalty spot to register his 750th goal in club football.

The hosts are also facing a bit of a goalkeeping crisis, currently missing David Ospina (thigh) and Raghed Al-Najjar through respective injury concerns, while Nawaf Al-Aqidi is currently serving a ban handed down by the Saudi Football Federation.

As a result, Waleed Abdullah should continue in goal this midweek. Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Sultan Al-Ghanam are also ruled out of this match due to their respective injuries. If Ronaldo is ruled out, Ayman Yahya could be handed a chance to impress in the starting lineup, while Otavio and Anderson Talisca would most likely play a more advanced position in the attack, with Sadio Mane at the tip.

Majed Qasheesh and Ben Hassan Traore missed Al-Hazem’s 1-1 draw against Al Khaleej last time out, and they remain major doubts for Al-Hazem for the upcoming tie versus Al-Nassr.

Head coach Jose Daniel Carreno substituted off Brazilian playmaker Vina before the halfway break in the same game due to what seemed to be a knock, and he is expected to miss this encounter, with Basil Yousef Alsayyali set to take over the attacking midfield spot.

Centre-back Paulo Ricardo scored at both ends last week, and he should continue in central defence alongside former SC Braga defender Bruno Viana. The visitors are likely to remain unchanged in attack for this match, with the forward trio of Mohammed Al-Thani, Badamosi, and Toze all set to keep their spots.
